Lake Proserpine
A getaway under the stars
Lake Proserpine is a haven for fishing enthusiasts and
outdoor adventurers.
Just a short drive from Proserpine and Airlie Beach, Lake Proserpine provides the perfect backdrop for kayaking, boating, and, of course, casting a line in search of the legendary one metre Barramundi.
Nestled lakeside, the well-maintained campgrounds offer ample space for tents and caravans. With the option of glamping available, it's perfect for a weekend getaway or an extended holiday under the stars.
The Campgrounds
Lake Proserpine offers unpowered 'bush camping' sites, providing a rustic camping experience. Visitors can take advantage of the pontoons, including one extending from the camping area into the lake, as well as a boat ramp and a jetty.
The on-site kiosk is open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 9 am to 4 pm, offering ice, wood, snacks, soft drinks, lollies, ice creams, fishing tackle, general goods, merchandise, a coffee machine, and a book/DVD swap.
Visitors can also take advantage of the BBQ's and picnic areas located in the day use area.
